INGREDIENTS

  • 1⁄4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled (to taste)
  • juice of one lemon, plus more as needed
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin (to taste) or 1 tablespoon paprika (to taste)

    • No sesame seeds or tahini

A bit bland. Yet more salt? EVOO? Is the zatar past its use-by?

  • 0.5 oz sesame seeds, toasted 20 min with roasting garlic

  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 lemon and zest
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 oz chick pea water

This is definitely more like it.

  • 1+ oz sesame oil

  • 1 oz walnut oil

Just a touch on the thin side but very creamy. Don't really miss the tahini? Could use a bit more lemon flavour.
