Lake George Scrabblers are familiar with longtime player Denise Mahnken. Denise was struck down, recently, with an attack of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), which is a sudden and devastating infectious brain disorder. Her prognosis is not good, and so we hope you'll have a moment to learn more about it and keep Denise in your thoughts.
