Pasta Sauce

  • Two cans crushed tomatoes
  • Oregano
  • Dry basil
  • Garlic
  • Medium onion (chopped finely)
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tin anchovies
  • Bay Leaf
  • Red wine
  • Ground black pepper
  1. Brown onions in olive oil (over stove, at 6 or 7)
  2. When onions almost done, turn stove down to 4 and add garlic
  3. when garlic is almost done, add other ingredients, starting with crushed tomatoes
  4. simmer under spatter guard
